`Ebook ⇥ Glory's Freedom: A Story of the Underground Railroad (Doll Hospital, Book 3) ⇸ PDF eBook or Kindle ePUB free

I think it needsactionin it but I kinda liked it. I expected this to beboring and tedious because of the age group, but the author did a good job keeping the story interesting She also did a good job of getting some education in for kids about slavery and the underground railroad, which I think is a good idea Historical fiction for kids is great Overall, decent book, I think kids would enjoy it. A fun, light read that connects the past with the present The real family life, trouble fitting in and friendship are easy to relate too It has a great balance of humor and history education. gr 3 5 115 pgssplit between present day and 1859 London and Alabama The present day story is about two sisters Rose and Lila who are staying with their Far Nana while their parents are in Africa Far Nana runs a doll hospital and has the magic ability to hear a doll s life story When Far Nana is asked to repair Glory, she shares the story of Glory and May, a slave, who escapes to freedom.I would have liked this story even better if it had just been Glory s story I found switching back and forth between the stories distracting I would recommend this book to someone who liked Midnight in the Dollhouse by Marjorie Stover or The Countess Calamity by Sally Gardner. `Ebook ⇦ Glory's Freedom: A Story of the Underground Railroad (Doll Hospital, Book 3) ⇚ The Rd Book In The Doll Hospital Series Tells The Dual Stories Of Glory, A Doll Owned By A Slave Who Traveled To Freedom Via The Underground Railroad, And Modern Day Sisters Rose And LilaSisters Rose And Lila, AgesAnd , Are Spending The Year With Their Grandmother Who Runs A Doll Hospital While Their Parents Are Working Out Of The Country Their Grandmother Has A Special Power To Communicate With Dolls, And To Tell Their StoriesIn This Book We Meet Glory, A Doll Who Is Given To A Slave Girl Named May By Arabella, The Daughter Of A Plantation Owner Glory Then Accompanies May On Her Journey To Freedom Years Later, Glory Is Discovered By The New Owners Of An Old House That, Unbeknownst To Them, Was Used As A Stop Along The Underground Railroad
